Massage Therapy
Deep Tissue:
It is designed to work in the
deeper structures of facial planes where muscular adhesions develop.
Similar techniques to Swedish but with more detailed pressure and more
profound results. Massage is a soft tissue manipulation by pressure on
connective tissue mainly that of fascia and muscle. It affects many
components of the Lymphatic and Circulatory Systems. One can expect
pain relief in the musculoskeletal system, increased range of motion
and reduced tension and anxiety
Neuromuscular/Trigger Point:
A highly effective technique.
Its primary use would be to alleviate chronic pain and structural dysfunction.
Stimulating the trigger point with ischemic compression and striping
out the muscle fibers helps to restore the muscle to its functional
length.
Injury Massages:
This is primarily used to look for dysfunction within the muscle tissue to help with either chronic or acute pain. Constant over use or a muscle or postural dysfunction can cause pain or discomfort. The purpose of this technique is to get the body back to its optimal correct alignment.
